Here we have a stunning vintage (and relatively rare) Fender Precision Bass, made in the USA in 1976.

As the first production model bass guitar, the Fender Precision bass was an absolutely revolutionary instrument upon its introduction in 1951. The Precision or 'P Bass' evolved throughout the ‘50s with changing electronics, body shape, and cosmetic details.

They have since gone on to become one of the mainstays in the world of bass guitar, with just about every bass guitar legend having owned one (or many!).

They really are superb instruments - arguably industry-leading.

CONDITION:

This guitar is in very good used condition for its age. It has a bit of cosmetic marking (particularly on the rear of the body). We've tried to capture this as accurately as possible in the photos, which form part of the item description.

The guitar is almost all-original, although it is missing the metal bridge cover (exposing its two screw holes either side of the bridge) and the metal on the machineheads has tarnished over the years. That said, they work perfectly and at least they've tarnished evenly!

The neck is straight, the action is comfortable and it is a pleasure to play!

COLLECTION/DELIVERY:

Due to the dimensions and value of this lovely guitar, we are sadly not offering postage for it.

It is only available to collect from our store in Exeter or possibly by local delivery within one hour of Exeter (please enquire first to see if this is available).

If you have any questions, please contact us before purchasing either by email or phone.
