Tokai have made themselves famous for making fantastic interpretations of well-loved classic guitars – and sometimes they’ve done it too well! The Love Rock series has obvious inspiration, and this LS-95 Lemon Burst Les Paul is a gorgeous example of that.
Made in China in 2013, it combines fantastic build quality with great value for money, and we love it to bits! It has a 24.75 scale length, two humbucking pickups and a hard tail bridge which, combined, allow you to get a range of luscious tones – from the jazz club to the mosh pit and everywhere inbetween!
It’s hard to explain just how amazing this guitar sounds (and what tremendous value it represents at this price point). In our opinion, it is as good a Les Paul as you will find at this price point (or even for a higher price!).
It has all of the sought-after features including a solid Flamed MAple top, solid mahogany back, mahogany neck, very dark rosewood fretboard, ABR-1 bridge, bone nut, PAF MK2 pickups and correct 18-degree ’59-style neck.
The weight is 4.2kg which is the perfect weight for a solid body Les Paul.
